A reflection on honoring our fallen heroes

Your job is not to finish the work of building democracy in our country - that work will never be finished as we struggle for an ever more perfect union.

It is not your job to stand alone against tyranny defending our country though there are many enemies of freedom within and outside our borders.

But as a child of free people, many of whom have given their lives for your rights and freedoms, neither are you not to do your share.
